Creelers is situated in the heart of the historic Old Town, just off the Royal Mile. Walking down from the Castle at the top of the hill, you arrive at a junction, with North Bridge to the left and South Bridge to the right. The old Tron Kirk stands at this junction, in Hunter Square. Creelers is a few yards down on the right. |
The restaurant is divided into two sections. The décor in the front achieves a cool and atmospheric evocation of the seas off the west coast of Scotland. Amongst the blues and greens, one wall has a large mural by the well-known artist, Victoria Orr-Ewing, depicting the isle of Arran as viewed from Tim’s family home at Skipness at the top of the Kintyre peninsula, looking over Kilbrannan Sound to Arran and down to Campbeltown.

The rear section, with its wooden floors and warmer, more intimate atmosphere, features regularly changing displays of paintings by young Scottish artists.
